  1. Nov 27,  · This one is for all you fellas out there! Tell us which ladies you like the most, and we’ll do you one better and determine your dream wife for you. Needless to say, this one’s going to be NSFW!/5.

  4. Song information for My Wife - The Who on AllMusic. While it's certainly true that Pete Townshend has a keen sense of humor, on Who's Next, the album salvaged from the pieces of the stalled Lifehouse project, Townshend gave John Entwistle the honor of penning the album's comic relief number, and he certainly came up with a corker.
  5. Much of Who's Next derives from Lifehouse, an ambitious sci-fi rock opera Pete Townshend abandoned after suffering a nervous breakdown, caused in part from working on the sequel to newwave.hugipuresmithlainaya.infoinfo's no discernable theme behind these songs, yet this album is stronger than Tommy, falling just behind Who Sell Out as the finest record the Who ever cut. 10/

  7. Jun 14,  · I thought my Decca pressing of this greta album was a bit muddy and lacked some of the snap I recall in the original vinyl recording, so I invested in this "newly remastered" version. It has none of the warm and balls of my Decca print. It's very thin sounding and you really notice it's failures when it's cranked a bit and (after all) it's The Who!/5().
  8. Summary: Until the release of "Who's Next Deluxe", the excellent sound of the original mix of the Canadian CD pressing seems to be the "fans choice". The sound of Disc 1 on "Who's Next Deluxe" (UK promo) supercedes that. Unfortunately, the "Deluxe Edition" is one disc short - you still need to have the remix version in order to have all of the related bonus tracks.
